A delegation of students from top Polish universities visited the House of Commons on 1st March 2017. After a tour of the Parliament a meeting was held with Daniel Kawczynski, the Chairman of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Poland. The Polish-born MP made a short speech about his work which was followed by Q & A. Polish students questioned Mr Kawczynski on a number of topics including the job opportunities for Polish nationals in the UK, the relation between the United Kingdom and the Middle East and the protections for EU citizens after Brexit.
Magda Sztuka, Chairman of the BPIA, presented Daniel Kawczynski with Polish sweets and expressed her hopes that more Poles would follow a political career in the UK.
